About Teaching Feeling

Welcome to the official website of Teaching Feeling, a unique visual novel that has touched the hearts of players around the world.
This game began with a simple idea: to create something that’s not just fun to play, but also emotionally meaningful.
Teaching Feeling, also known as Life With a Slave -Teaching Feeling-, was created by Ray-K and developed by the company FreakilyCharming. It was first released in 2015 and quickly became popular thanks to its powerful story and deep character development.

Our goal is to show that games can be more than just entertainment they can also tell moving stories that stay with you. With Teaching Feeling, we wanted to build a world where players could truly connect with the characters, feel their emotions, and follow their personal journeys through both happy and difficult times.

The Story and Characters

Teaching Feeling is a story-driven game that centers on your growing relationship with Sylvie, a girl who has suffered through a painful past. As the player, you take on a caretaker role, and your actions directly shape Sylvie’s emotional recovery and trust. The game’s world is dark and fantasy-themed, creating a somber atmosphere that highlights the emotional weight of your decisions.

While a few side characters appear, like a shady businessman, a shop owner, and a café waitress, they serve more as background elements. The heart of the game lies in the choices you make with Sylvie each decision can open unique scenes and paths, with no way to switch routes without restarting. This structure gives the game high replay value and adds emotional depth, as every choice carries real consequences.

Interactive Story Paths

One of the best things about this game is that there’s no “wrong” way to treat Sylvie. In many other games, making a bad choice can lead to a bad ending or even losing the game. But in Teaching Feeling, your choices don’t get punished they simply shape the story in different ways.

About Teaching Feeling

If you treat Sylvie badly, she becomes emotionally hurt. If you choose to romance her, the game follows that path. And if you help her grow into a strong, independent person, the game supports that too. The story changes based on how you interact with her, without judging your decisions. That said, I personally think choosing the kind and caring path makes for the most meaningful experience.

Character Progression

In the wholesome route, Sylvie is portrayed with care and emotional depth. As she heals from her past, her behavior, words, and reactions change in a way that makes her feel like a real person. Small gestures like holding her hand, patting her head, or taking her outside gradually help her trust you more. She starts opening up, becomes more affectionate, and even begins to see herself in a more mature light. Her desire to connect with others grows too, shown by moments like asking to work at the clinic or, later in the game, possibly attending school.

Though her recovery happens quickly over just a couple of months the game captures her emotional journey with surprising subtlety. There’s even a “Lust” meter that reflects her feelings, depending on your choices. It’s clear the developers intended for players to build a meaningful connection with her. Personally, after initially choosing a harmful option and feeling awful about it, I restarted and followed the path that felt truly kind. Sylvie’s growth feels rewarding, and watching her begin to stand on her own while still choosing to stay by your side is what makes her story so moving.

Conclusion

This game offers a surprisingly heartfelt experience despite its mature themes. Building a connection with Sylvie takes time, patience, and genuine care, making her eventual trust and affection feel deeply rewarding. The slow emotional growth is what gives the story its power and lasting impact.
